Sephora has an affiliate program with hundreds of brands all catering to different needs in the skin care and beauty market. Anyone can apply to become an affiliate but that does not mean everyone is accepted. It usually takes about three weeks to get accepted and once you are accepted you are all set. Sephora gives a commission rate of 5% compared to other companies like Nordstrom’s 2%/. Briogeo is one of those affiliate companies and it is an all natural Hair care / beauty care company that has a focus on hair products. Their claim to fame is not using any chemicals and only using natural ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, and vitamins. Briogeo was founded by Nancy Twine in NY based off her grandmother’s home made skin care products/routines. The name Briogeo comes from two words, the first being Brio which is an Italian word that means “full of life,” and Geo which is a Latin word that means “of Earth and Nature.” They have 100% no harsh chemicals, artificial dyes, silicons, or any other non-natural ingredients. Their main exfoliant is micro-charcoal. Their usage of 100% is a growing trend of other brands trying their best to find new ways to be more sustainable and natural in an industry that is not highly regulated.
